Dr. Leon D. James DDS, MBA, MS, DABDSM

Dr. Leon D. James DDS, MBA received an undergraduate degree from Prairie View A&M University in Biology. In 2006, he received his Doctoral of Dental Surgery from  Howard University College of Dentistry located in Washington, DC. In 2007, Leon completed an intensive general residency program at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, focusing on Total Mouth Rehabilitation, Implants, Cosmetics, and Sedation Dentistry. Earlier in Dr. James’ career, he dedicated himself to serving underserved communities. In 2004, Dr. James became a member of the National Health Service Corps and served as a dental director at Charter Oak Community Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

 

Dr. James also completed specialty training for IV sedation at Montefiore Hospital and Implantology at the Medical College of Georgia. He also completed advanced training in orthodontics, in which he has received Diplomate degrees in Implantology, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Orthodontics. In addition, Leon D James DDS completed TMD training from the Dawson Institute and is credentialed as a qualified dentist for treating sleep apnea with oral appliances by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

 

 Dr. James has built his life on the philosophy of being “A Student for Life”; therefore in 2014, Dr. James received his MBA degree from Texas Tech University. In 2010, 2015,2018, and 2019, Dr. Leon D. James was selected as one of the Leading Physicians of the World for Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. 

 

Currently, Leon is earning his Master's degree at one of the most recognized universities in the world in regards to Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine. Under the guidance of Dr. Glenn Clark of the University of Southern California, Dr. James is learning the most updated causes and treatment of orofacial pain.
